We are ordinary people who sin daily and are by nature unrighteous, unclean, enemies of God.
We are also extraordinary because God declares us to be righteous, clean, friends, perfect children of God.
How? One way: God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to reconcile us to God by His cross and resurrection. But not only for us, but for the whole world, that is "...to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God" (John 1:12).
Ordinarily, we worship and serve the Triune God that Jesus revealed and is part of. We engage in the study of Sacred Scripture and other topics on campus. Likewise, we come together as a community of Christian students who live in the forgiveness of sins, learn to engage the world with the Christian mind, and to be active in love for others. We thrive on God's good gifts and grow in the fellowship of Christ and His saints.
Yet extraordinarily, we live and we love because He first loved us and gave His life as a ransom for many.
We are members of "the one holy Christian Church" and our confession is identified with The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.
